<p>Assistant Principal / Assistant Athletic Director</p> <p>Position Type: Administration, Assistant Principal</p> <p>Location: Plainfield High School</p> <p>Start Date: July 1, 2026</p> <p>Reports To: Principal</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Valid Indiana Administrator's License </li><li>Minimum of two years administrative experience preferred </li><li>Minimum of five years successful teaching experience </li><li>Ability to use data in the decision making process </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families </li><li>Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills </li><li>Experience leading attendance processes or student services work preferred </li><li>Experience supervising classified staff preferred </li></ul> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership for two grade levels of discipline, ensuring consistent processes, clear communication, and effective follow up. </li><li>Lead schoolwide attendance processes, including early identification of concerns and coordination of interventions with students and families. </li><li>Support a positive and safe school climate through proactive student support, communication, and visibility throughout the school day. </li><li>Oversee clubs, student organizations, and fundraisers, ensuring approval, compliance, and meaningful opportunities for student involvement. </li><li>Assist the Athletic Director through event supervision and support of athletic program operations, fulfilling Assistant Athletic Director duties as assigned. </li><li>Participate in the evaluation of certified and non certified staff as assigned by the Principal. </li><li>Support daily school operations, student activities, and additional responsibilities assigned by the Principal or Superintendent. </li></ul>
