<p>About the role</p> <p>As the college continues to strengthen and grow its Construction and Building Services provision, we are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic candidates to join our Construction & Building Services department on our Weymouth campus as a Bricklaying Instructor / Technician. We will provide you with all the training needed and fully fund all teaching and assessing qualifications for those who are coming in 'Off the tools'.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a bricklaying technician / instructor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of practical and theoretical instruction and skills based training, to a range of students, complementing the teaching and learning process in further education. You will also assist in the support, supervision and instruction of students undertaking full preparation of the learning environment including equipment, technology, aids, materials and resources</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting in the delivery of industry-relevant lessons aligned with the Construction curriculum. </li><li>Supporting learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge. </li><li>Preparing and maintaining classroom & workshop environments, equipment, and resources. </li><li>Collaborating with colleagues and employers to ensure curriculum relevance and quality. </li></ul> <p>Who We're Looking For</p> <p>Whether you're an experienced educator or a qualified construction professional looking to transition into teaching, we welcome your application.
