<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Under the general supervision of the Classification Case Manager, evaluates inmates automated and manual record to determine eligibility for institutional assignment, custody changes, jobs and treatment program.</p> </li><li> <p>Serves as chairperson of the institutional classification committee.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates an equitable classification system for a caseload of approximately 250 inmates.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts periodic reviews of inmate's progress.</p> </li><li> <p>Interviews inmates relating to their general institutional adjustment or related problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Responds to inquiries of information from departmental officials and other agencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Operates the SCDC computer system to enter/retrieve information pertaining to inmate's social, criminal, educational and family history.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.</p> <p>Questions regarding the application process, this job posting or any other postings with the SCDC should be directed to:</p> <p>Recruiting and Employment Services</p> <p>(803) 896-1649</p> <p>Employment@doc.sc.gov</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>A high school diploma and related experience.
