This role is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of supplies, equipment, and materials both on and off campus. The ideal candidate is a professional CDL driver who values safety, reliability, and providing excellent service while supporting a community dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults.</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical school graduate is a plus </li><li>Minimum of 4 years of driving experience </li><li>Valid Virginia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred </li><li>Clean driving record (documentation required) </li><li>Strong commitment to customer service and resident satisfaction </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Safely transport residents to designated locations with professionalism and courtesy </li><li>Assist residents with loading and unloading personal items as needed </li><li>Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including brakes, lights, wipers, tires, and fluid levels </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of vehicles (washing, waxing, etc.) </li><li>Report vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly </li><li>Monitor schedules and transportation requests to ensure timely service </li><li>Assist Security with valet parking and traffic direction during special events </li><li>Be available to work weekends, holidays, or as-needed shifts </li></ul>
