These activities will include performing day-to-day accounting and finance activity in support of the division. This position will play a critical role in the financial management and analysis of the organization's growth and profitability.</p> <p>Key areas include revenue and cost accounting, variance investigation, journal entries, account reconciliations and financial inventory management.</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the preparation of weekly revenue files including cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and profitability reports. </li><li>Prepare revenue recognition for service contracts and other service deliverables. </li><li>Support the manager in analyzing inventory balances, turnover rates, and other key inventory valuation metrics. </li><li>Assist in the development of the Quarterly Business Review package, annual budget forecast, providing insights on cost drivers and potential cost fluctuations. </li><li>Interpret quarter-end financial data, historical business trends, and statistical data to understand the cost drivers for variances from budget/forecast/prior year. </li><li>Collaborate with project managers to track and analyze project-specific costs, ensuring accurate project accounting and financial reporting. </li><li>Support Teradyne's cash flow objectives through collaboration with credit collections and sales </li><li>Assist with internal and external audits ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes- Oxley requirements and Teradyne Accounting Policies and Procedures. </li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives in the business for Finance. </li></ul> <p>All About You:</p> <p>We seek individuals who share our passion and determination.
