<p>The Wound Care Nurse is a Registered Nurse who provides patient care services for patients with fecal and urinary diversions, acute and chronic wounds, drains, pressure injuries, peristomal skin issues, and skin issues as defined by the Wound Ostomy and Continence (WOCN) Organization. Functions independently in both acute and patient care settings and outpatient services. The Wound Care RN also serves in a consultative and educational role for medical and nursing staff, and education role for the professional and lay community.</p> <p>Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable.
