<p>Position Summary</p> <p>As a Licensed Psychologist, you will provide:</p> <ul> <li>Psychological services that may include: complex psychological evaluations, assessment of mental health symptoms, behavioral assessments, and integrated treatment plan development. </li><li>Mental health consultation to your unit interdisciplinary team, other psychology department staff and community providers. </li><li>Direction and supervision to psychological associates, assistants, interns, students and trainees in conjunction with Department Director. </li></ul> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Starting annual salary* is $126,900 plus excellent benefits.</p> <ul> <li>*Salary includes $6.00 /hour add-on for Doctorate and $5 /hour add-on for WI licensure. </li><li>$2,000 sign-on bonus applies to those with no prior state service in the last five years; who stay with the facility in the position until completing probation. Bonus will be split, $1,000 upon hire and $1,000 after completing probation. </li><li>12-month probationary period is required. The pay schedule and range is 12-60. </li><li>Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. </li></ul> <p>Job Details</p> <p>All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.</p> <p>All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by SWC or medical personnel approved by the facility prior to their start date.</p> <p>DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified candidates must have:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin. Licensure must be obtained by time of appointment. Please refer to the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services website for more information on licensing. </li></ul> <p>A well-qualified candidate will also have one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working within a multidisciplinary team </li><li>Experience completing behavioral assessments </li><li>Experience developing behavioral intervention treatment plans </li><li>Experience instructing others in diagnostic, therapeutic, counseling techniques </li><li>Experience providing guidance and consultation to clients, families, staff, and community agencies. </li><li>Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health, and maladaptive behaviors. </li></ul> <p>Eligibility means the candidate has applied and is in the process of obtaining a license in the State of Wisconsin.</p> <p>For a guide on developing your resume and what should be included, click here.</p> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Applying is easy!
