Responsible for supervising subordinate staff members assigned to one or more work locations. Work is performed with considerable independence and the exercise of independent judgment under the general supervision of the department manager or other designated supervisor.</p> <p>Representative Duties/Assignments</p> <p>Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.</p> <ul> <li>Manage daily operations and staff for assigned programs/projects. </li><li>Supervise personnel, provide guidance, evaluate performance, and ensure adherence to County policies. </li><li>Develop and deliver technical training programs; promote staff competency and continuous improvement. </li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. </li><li>Conduct needs assessments; track program performance and recommend improvements. </li><li>Plan and deliver educational programs, outreach activities, and public communications. </li><li>Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and maintain community partnerships. </li><li>Assist with budget monitoring, procurement, and contract management. </li><li>Represent the County at community and stakeholder events. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field relevant to the department's mission, plus two (2) years of professional experience in program management, project coordination, or community outreach; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential. Must demonstrate the ability to independently manage multiple tasks and teams across diverse program areas.
