<ol> <li>Administrative </li></ol> <p>a. Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activity programs of this facility in accordance with residents care assessments.</p> <p>b. Abide by current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards of practice, in order to assist with necessary changes in department policies and procedures.</p> <p>c. Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility and involve the resident/family when planning objectives and goals for the resident.</p> <p>d. Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement in order to chart detailed notes regarding resident's activity progress.</p> <p>e. Perform administrative requirements as needed including but not limited to forecasting the department budget, purchasing department supplies and clothing/personal items for the residents.</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Committee-Serve on, participate in and attend various committees and continuing education programs of the facility as required. Participate in regularly scheduled reviews of resident discharge plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Assessment and Care Plan- Assist in developing comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of residents and develop a 'Plan of Care'. Review and revise "Care Plans" to ensure follow through and quality control. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care.</p> </li><li> <p>Staff Development- Assist in the development of and participate in the orientation and in-service training programs related to the activity program.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information; and adhere to Resident's rights</p> </li><li> <p>Implement activity procedures and oversee residents engaged in scheduled activities as directed by the Activity Director.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other tasks as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directed by the Activity Director.</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>Minimum of High School Diploma/GED or higher </li><li>Ability to read, write and communicate in English </li><li>Proven ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the residents, family members, visitors, and personnel served with patience, tact, and enthusiasm. </li><li>Must possess leadership ability, willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel, and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions. </li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. </li></ul>
