LaForce is looking for an IT Support Technician to serve as the first point of contact for company-wide computer and phone support. In this role, you'll help keep our teams connected and running smoothly by troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and assisting with system maintenance and upgrades.</p> <p>This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, helping others, and working in a collaborative IT environment.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the first point of contact for company-wide IT support </li><li>Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and phone issues </li><li>Provide support in person, by phone, chat, and email </li><li>Install and configure computers, software, and peripherals including monitors, printers, TVs, headsets, and phones </li><li>Maintain asset tracking and documentation of equipment and configurations </li><li>Document and track issues using Help Desk software </li><li>Assist with PC maintenance, upgrades, and preventative maintenance </li><li>Support and maintain network systems including Internet, LAN, and WAN environments </li><li>Assist the System Administrator with building and upgrading PCs </li><li>Train new employees on IT systems during onboarding </li><li>Maintain documentation for users and internal IT processes </li><li>Escalate issues when needed and collaborate with the IT team </li><li>Maintain a high level of integrity when handling sensitive digital information </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in Computer Technology or related IT field preferred </li><li>Prior experience supporting computer hardware and software preferred </li><li>Strong customer service mindset </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>Why LaForce?</p> <p>LaForce offers great benefits and a fun, professional working environment:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision coverage </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li><li>Company wellness program </li><li>Stable and growing company </li></ul>
