We offer innovative, finely crafted and award-winning products for the entire journey.</p> <p>In the role of Video Production Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate on work for Yamaha musical instrument and audio/visual products. You'll be involved in every aspect of marketing projects from concepting to launch and you should be able to walk away from the internship with first-class work to add to your portfolio. We're looking for an intern who is a true team member, not just an errand-runner, who wants to learn from the breadth of experience that our team has to offer. We're also looking for someone who brings authenticity, a hunger to learn, and a sense of humor to the office each day.</p> <p>We are recruiting for the Spring term: January - June. This is a paid internship and relocation is not provided. Internships with Yamaha last approximately 3 months but will not exceed 6 months. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, driven and ready to learn.</p> <p>This position is located in our corporate office in Buena Park, CA and is a hybrid schedule.</p> <p>Here's what you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Assist on projects and act as video production crew member </li><li>Assist in developing motion graphics, video bumpers and end card templates </li><li>Assist production team with video and photo shoots including set up and tear down </li><li>Work onsite to help organize and maintain video/photo content studio space </li><li>Work with the team to create pre-production documents (call sheets, shot lists, overheads, etc.) </li><li>Conduct stock photo/video and music searches </li><li>Help with asset management, clipping, tagging, editing, and archiving </li><li>Assist with audio, lighting, G&E and basic camera set ups on location </li><li>Pitch-in with various day-to-day departmental needs </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior from an accredited university or have graduated within a year with a degree in Video Production, Music Production, or a combination thereof </li><li>Must be able to work full time (M-F 8:30-5) during internship </li><li>Must be proficient in Mac OS </li><li>Working knowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteAudio and/or video production and editing </li><li>Comfortable with video production schedules and on set etiquette. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Social media marketing and/or advertising </li><li>Website, print, digital and/or email design </li><li>Experience with DaVinci Resolve </li><li>Appreciation of music and sound </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Effective communication (written and verbal) </li><li>Collaborative </li><li>Action oriented </li><li>Feedback oriented </li><li>Solution oriented </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <ul> <li>Up to $16.50/hour </li></ul> <p>Here's what we'll bring:</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid work schedule </li><li>Robust employee wellness programs including free music lessons </li><li>Free concerts from award winning artists </li><li>Discounted hotel, travel, entertainment, and other attractions </li><li>Casual dress </li><li>Paid sick-time; and holiday pay for company holidays that fall within the duration of the internship </li><li>Inclusive and passionate culture </li><li>Opportunity to be part of something bigger; changing people's lives through music and sound </li></ul> <p>If this role is 'music to your ears', please apply!</p>
