<p>Job Title: Project Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join an exciting venture as a Project Engineer in Afton, MO, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the expansion of a food and beverage manufacturing facility. This position involves managing the installation and implementation of two new production lines with aggressive timelines while being cost-conscious. You will work closely with suppliers, contractors, and the engineering team to ensure the successful execution of the project.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the project implementation and installation of new production lines. </li><li>Manage onsite contractors and address installation-related questions. </li><li>Procure equipment and manage the design process, including specs for bids. </li><li>Review quotes and technical specifications. </li><li>Coordinate with suppliers and contractors. </li><li>Handle project management activities such as invoicing, order tracking, and equipment delivery. </li><li>Ensure timely project completion and manage timelines. </li><li>Make necessary design adjustments and read schematics at a high level. </li><li>Relay design information to contractors. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in project management, particularly in manufacturing environments. </li><li>Understanding of GMP guidelines for sanitation and food or pharma or consumer goods manufacturing. </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD to read schematics and relay information to contractors. </li><li>Strong mechanical engineering background, ideally with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in contractor management and handling installations. </li><li>Skills in cost management and timeline management. </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>You will spend most of your time on the manufacturing floor, interfacing with contractors, suppliers, and the engineering and production staff.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
