<p>POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Technician</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Maintenance</p> <p>JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPT</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and continuous operation of production and facility equipment. This role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues in a timely and safe manner.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine maintenance and inspections on production and building equipment to ensure optimal performance. </li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. </li><li>Repair and maintain machinery including saws, routers, compressors, boilers, and hand/power tools. </li><li>Disassemble equipment to replace worn or defective parts using hand and power tools. </li><li>Assist with the installation, relocation, and setup of new or existing equipment. </li><li>Perform carpentry and general building maintenance as needed. </li><li>Lubricate machinery per scheduled intervals to ensure consistent operation. </li><li>Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and repairs performed. </li><li>Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance role. </li><li>Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and plumbing. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. </li><li>Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions. </li><li>Bilingual and/or machinist skills a plus. </li></ul>
