<p>Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College</p> <p>OPS Customer Service Representative Opportunity</p> <p>Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of Customer Service Representative at the Florida Public Safety Institute. We're looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As Customer Service Representative, the day-to-day responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, vendors and store customers</p> </li><li> <p>Be the main point of contact for phone calls and in-person inquiries.</p> </li><li> <p>Process mail, packages, and deliveries - while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/reception area.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with other operations- or store-related projects and tasks as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Varied hours between 7:30 and 5:00; 25 hours weekly</p> </li></ul> <p>Who We're Looking For</p> <p>We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience in front desk, administrative support, retail, or operations role preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
