<p>Role: Hospitality College Internship</p> <p>Department: Outside Sales (Events Team)</p> <p>Are you studying Hospitality, Business, or Event Management and looking for hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom?</p> <p>Join us this summer to experience how Chick-fil-A brings the warm hospitality and delicious food it's known for to community events.</p> <p>Kansas City is hosting the world this summer - come play a part of the epic FIFA World Cup activities Summer 2026 as part of Chick-fil-A!</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Bring Chick-fil-A's warm hospitality and delicious menu to a wide variety of community events like outdoor concerts, sports tournaments, community events, swim meets, etc. </li><li>Learn how to plan and operate mobile concessions setups </li><li>Forecast inventory and manage real-time product flow </li><li>Analyze event performance (sales, speed, profitability) </li><li>Support employee engagement events for our 225 employee base in Lees Summit - like our annual Summer Picnic, Summer Fun Days and other fun employee events </li></ul> <p>What You'll Gain:</p> <ul> <li>Real-world operations experience </li><li>Exposure to event logistics and business strategy </li><li>Leadership and problem-solving skills </li><li>Experience with a major brand you can showcase on your resume </li></ul> <p>Program Details:</p> <ul> <li>8-week paid internship </li><li>15-25 hours per week (more hours are available) </li><li>Includes structured training + event experience </li><li>Additional Internship Program elements provided to candidates during interview and selection process </li></ul> <p>Ideal Candidates:</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled college student (min 18 yrs old) interested in events management, operations, or hospitality leadership </li><li>Comfortable working in fast-paced environments </li><li>Very strong communication skills </li><li>Initiative with can-do spirit and problem solving skills when our in the field doing events </li></ul> <p>Additional compensation for those skilled with driving and maneuvering a pickup pulling a trailer.</p> <p>Note:</p> <ul> <li>Professionalism is important to us, including appearance, manners, language and conduct. </li><li>Both work experience and character references are required. </li><li>Chick-fil-A's national appearance standards include no "rainbow" colored hair, limits on jewelry, and all facial hair must be neatly groomed.
