This role (to be filled at either Associate Director or Director level, depending on candidate experience) requires someone who combines strong analytical expertise with commercial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy, you will join our existing analytics team and help grow (commensurate with level) a high-performing analytics function that provides critical analytical support and inform pipeline planning, translating data into actionable recommendations that optimize our current and future commercial success.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Analytics Leadership: Execute the analytics strategy that informs key aspects of commercial launch planning and execution. Translate business objectives into analytical frameworks that deliver actionable insights for commercial decision-making. </li><li>Commercial Launch Insights: Develop analytical models that forecast launch performance scenarios and identify critical success factors. Design analytics approaches that inform tactical execution plans and resource allocation. </li><li>Team Management: Support team development (Associate Director) or develop and grow the analytics team (Director). Foster exceptional commercial insights capabilities and establish processes for analytical excellence, innovation, and business impact. </li><li>Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with commercial leadership to communicate complex analyses through clear, compelling narratives that support strategic decisions. Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence. </li><li>Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and R&D teams to ensure analytics are integrated across launch-critical workstreams. Foster data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. </li><li>Launch Readiness Analytics: Implement metrics and dashboards that track launch readiness across commercial workstreams. Develop monitoring systems that identify potential launch risks and opportunities for course correction. </li><li>Market Intelligence: Direct the analysis and synthesis of market insights related to oncology therapeutic landscapes, competitive dynamics, and prescriber behaviors. Transform market intelligence into actionable launch strategies for precision oncology therapies. </li><li>Analytics Excellence: Champion advanced analytics techniques including predictive modeling and machine learning. Integrate diverse data sources to create comprehensive views of the precision oncology market and the specific opportunities within. </li><li>Budget Management: Support the analytics function budget effectively. Make recommendations about resource allocation, vendor partnerships, and technology investments that maximize ROI. </li><li>Capability Building: Develop analytics capabilities that elevate data literacy across the commercial organization. Support the adoption of self-service analytics tools that democratize access to insights. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred. </li><li>For Associate Director: 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 1-2 years in management positions. </li><li>For Director: 7+ years of experience in commercial analytics roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in management positions. </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical analytics with a track record of insights that influenced commercial strategies. </li><li>Experience supporting or leading analytics for a marketed product, preferably in oncology. </li><li>Experience with analytics to support pipeline development and commercial planning. </li><li>Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for commercial stakeholders. </li><li>Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization processes including market access, sales force effectiveness, marketing optimization, and patient journey analytics. </li><li>Familiarity with oncology data sources including prescription data, claims databases, patient registries, and primary market research. </li><li>Experience implementing analytics processes that ensure data quality, analytical consistency, and insights reliability. </li><li>Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams through data-driven narratives. </li><li>Successful track record collaborating with commercial leadership to integrate analytics throughout the organization. </li><li>Experience developing and mentoring team members in an existing analytics organization. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Veeva CRM and data integration for commercial analytics. </li><li>Experience supporting a product in its first 1-2 years post-launch, preferably in oncology and/or rare disease. </li><li>Experience in specialty and rare disease markets with expertise navigating limited data environments. </li><li>Track record of implementing analytics capabilities or significantly enhancing existing processes. </li><li>Experience incorporating real-world evidence insights into commercial strategy for a marketed product. </li><li>History of successful analytics vendor management and technology implementation. </li><li>Experience integrating patient-centric insights into commercial strategies for specialty therapies. </li><li>Knowledge of the precision oncology landscape, including targeted therapies, biomarker strategies, and evolving treatment paradigms. </li><li>Experience balancing resources between supporting a marketed product and pipeline analytics needs. </li></ul> <p>Leadership Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect analytics to commercial objectives and translate data into actionable recommendations. </li><li>Execution Focus: Demonstrated ability to implement analytical insights that deliver measurable results. </li><li>People Development: Proven track record of developing team members' analytical and business capabilities. </li><li>Stakeholder Management: Skill in building relationships across the organization and communicating effectively with senior leadership. </li><li>Business Acumen: Solid understanding of pharmaceutical business models and the role of analytics in driving commercial performance. </li><li>Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust analytical approaches as launch priorities evolve. </li><li>Ethical Leadership: Unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Impact Opportunity:</p> <p>This role offers the opportunity to significantly influence the commercial trajectory of our recently launched oncology product while helping shape the future of our pipeline assets.
