<p>Description</p> <p>Our client is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their team developing real-time missile Operational Flight Programs (OFP). This role involves designing and implementing advanced embedded software solutions for mission-critical systems running on multi-core processors under Linux or real-time operating systems.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain real-time, object-oriented embedded software in C++ 2025 for missile OFP. </li><li>Implement software solutions on Linux-based multi-core platforms. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware and firmware. </li><li>Support full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, testing, and verification. </li><li>Participate in Agile development processes using GitLab and Bitbucket. </li><li>Ensure compliance with DevSecOps principles, including CI/CD and automated testing. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>6+ years of embedded real-time software development in C++ 2025 using Linux on multi-core processors. </li><li>3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: </li><li>Inertial navigation, guidance, autopilot, launch sequence and control. </li><li>Gimbal Line-of-Sight (LOS) control or IR seeker image processing. </li><li>3+ years working with MIL-STD-1553 interface. </li><li>3+ years of Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban) with GitLab and Bitbucket. </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with FreeRTOS, Yocto, or Linux distributions (e.g., CentOS 7). </li><li>Strong understanding of C++ design patterns for embedded systems. </li><li>Hands-on experience with software/firmware/hardware integration. </li><li>Knowledge of full software lifecycle processes. </li><li>Exposure to DevSecOps tools and practices (CI/CD, automated testing). </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $71.59 - $71.59/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
