Lane specializes in mobility, tunneling, and water resources to address sustainable development and climate change adaptation challenges.</p> <p>The Senior Field Engineer monitors construction activities within the project.</p> <p>Position will support a large highway construction project in Orlando, FL area.</p> <p>Responsibilities including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Physically measure, document, and collect project quantities on all scopes of work performed within the project, and manage project quantity book. </li><li>Assist with cost report management, including JDEdwards manipulations. </li><li>Assist with project CPM management, including regular updates. </li><li>Manage major subcontracts and suppliers, and input quantities into JDE & Quantity Book. </li><li>Prepare pay estimates for major subcontracts and suppliers. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required. </li><li>Minimum 1-3 years experience in heavy civil or related construction. </li><li>Familiar with grading, drainage, paving (asphalt and concrete), bridge construction, retaining walls, and all other affiliated highway construction scopes. </li><li>A Team player with strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail oriented. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and familiarity with Primavera, Bluebeam, and HCSS software. </li><li>Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and continues to learn from the experience of others. </li><li>Willing to perform a variety of complicated tasks. </li><li>A wide degree of creativity and engagement is expected. </li></ul> <p>Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
