The Engineering Technician will perform calibrations, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment per the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Under supervision of engineering management, the technician will perform planned and unplanned maintenance on manufacturing facilities, utilities and equipment. The technician will troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the need for appropriate repairs. The technician will operate, install and configure various equipment. The technician will perform routine and as-needed building maintenance tasks.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Perform calibrations and maintenance activities prior to the scheduled due date </li><li>Document calibration and maintenance activities in a CMMS system (Computerized Maintenance Management System) </li><li>Coordinate calibration and maintenance activities with equipment owners to ensure equipment availability </li><li>Provide input on maintenance and calibration procedures </li><li>Schedule and work with suppliers to perform service, calibration, and maintenance activities for facility, utilities, and equipment </li><li>Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform appropriate repairs </li><li>Support any emergency and after-hours building needs and activities as required. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and support continuous improvement & safety projects (gems & good saves). </li><li>Perform general facility and engineering service tasks as needed </li><li>Support non-conformance investigations and support CAPAs as needed </li><li>Maintain spare parts inventory and 6s standard, order parts in ERP system when needed </li><li>Ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality system requirements </li><li>Mentor, onboard and train junior technicians. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of a high school degree or GED; prior experience or related education is a plus </li><li>3+ years of experience in a technical/technician role.
