<p>Kforce's client, a well-proven publicly-held company with a 30 year history of growth, has a need for a Senior Financial Accountant. This company offers strong growth potential and a chance to work in a highly collaborative environment.</p> <p>Summary: Our client is in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our Portfolio Reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and general ledger functions for a multitude of entities. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This is a high-impact role with built in growth potential.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare, analyze, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-based financial reports and supporting workpapers </li><li>Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare and review journal entries </li><li>Support the preparation of SEC filings and related public disclosures </li><li>Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly and annual procedures </li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with debt covenants and other financial reporting requirements </li><li>Maintain and update cash forecasts; monitor liquidity and funding needs </li><li>Calculate and facilitate the payment of business management fees </li><li>Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Asset Management, and Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting </li><li>Review and code corporate payables for assigned entities </li><li>Lead or participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by senior management </li><li>Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance </li><li>CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred </li><li>3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with multi entities, or public accounting </li><li>Proficiency with property management/accounting software </li><li>Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Experience with SEC reporting tools (e.g., Workiva) is a plus </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset </li><li>Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills </li></ul>
