<p>Overview</p> <p>A Deepwater Crane Operator & Production Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining cranes on an offshore procurement platform in the Gulf of Mexico as well as work as a production operator when not completing lifts.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operate levers and pedals to control the crane. </li><li>Follow hand signals to raise, lower, and rotate the boom or load. </li><li>Lift and move equipment or material on the platform and between boats in various sea conditions. </li><li>Maintain and clean crane equipment. </li><li>Provide leadership to construction riggers. </li><li>Conduct safety and operation inspections of the crane. </li><li>Start up, Operate, Monitor and Shut Down Process and Utility Systems </li><li>Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc.) within operating requirements. </li><li>Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon. </li><li>Troubles shoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume to identify problems. </li><li>Maintain discharge water quality within current SBMPC or local guidelines. </li><li>Monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas Systems </li><li>Ensure accurate production reporting is submitted daily or as required by company and client. </li><li>Witness third party calibrations when appropriate to provide verification of meter factors and volumes. </li><li>Prove export oil meters. </li><li>Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner. Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements. </li><li>Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Real ID driver's license or current U.S. passport. </li><li>5 or more years of prior offshore crane operating experience making dynamic lifts on a deepwater platform required. </li><li>2-4 years offshore production operating experience. </li><li>Crane Operator Certification. </li><li>Previous experience operating Seatrax cranes preferred. </li><li>Deepwater operating experience preferred. </li><li>Mechanical experience or aptitude. </li></ul>
