The work you will do focuses on inspecting systems, reviewing information, and helping operators meet safety requirements. As a Sanitarian Trainee, you will perform the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>Field Inspections: Conduct inspections of public water systems and review data to check that operations follow state drinking water standards </li><li>System Reviews: Evaluate water system records, plans, and equipment to confirm that safe practices are being used </li><li>Public Assistance: Provide information to operators, officials, and the public to support understanding of regulations and water safety issues </li><li>Sampling Activities: Collect water samples and verify laboratory results to ensure quality standards are met </li><li>Compliance Support: Identify problems and recommend steps operators must take to correct issues and maintain compliance </li></ul> <p>Interested in learning more?
