Pay rates are based on experience and client does prefer a resume or work history, as well as a tour of the facility. Preferred candidates would have experience in the following:</p> <p>Pay Rate: $ 18.50</p> <p>Job Title: Machine Operator</p> <p>Shift: Sun - Thur- 11 PM - 7:30 AM (Must be able to train on 1st -M-F 7 AM - 3:30 PM for 4 weeks)</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Previous industrial work experience is preferred.</p> <p>Ability to read rulers, micrometers (US and Metric) & digital metering equipment is preferred.</p> <p>Experience working as a machine operator in a production environment, troubleshooting and</p> <p>meeting schedule demands is highly preferred</p> <p>Have ability to lift up to 50lbs.</p> <p>Some computer experience</p> <p>Good work attendance is expected. Overtime is required.</p> <p>Duties would include the following:</p> <p>Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</p> <p>Control the functions of equipment, start/stop of the equipment, follow lockout procedures as required,</p> <p>meet, or exceed the part per minute standards that have been set for each piece of equipment or</p> <p>product line.</p> <p>Conduct and record hourly quality inspections on finished goods.</p> <p>Scan, record, inspect and manage raw materials and finished goods that are produced through the</p> <p>equipment.</p> <p>Troubleshoot production interruptions that may take place during the normal course of the production</p> <p>shift and record uptime and downtime.</p> <p>Follow and adhere to daily production schedules and targets.</p> <p>Work with maintenance personnel and supervision to maximize uptime on the equipment or lines to</p> <p>meet customer expectations regarding on-time service.</p> <p>Maintain a logbook for daily production and downtime events.</p> <p>Follow all company procedures regarding GMP's and sanitation requirements.</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>This facility requires the use of safety shoes (steel toes/Composites). No jewelry, phones, ear pods/air pods or watches are allowed on the floor. Hair nets must be worn.</p> <p>Indianapolis IN 3090</p>
