<p>We are looking for a full-time compassionate Special Education teacher to work with the IID population at Millcreek of Magee School for the fall 2025 school year. • Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Education • Certification: Hold an appropriate Mississippi Teaching Credential or valid emergency • 220 or 221 endorsement preferred certification issued by the state of Mississippi Educational Board Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K are offered.</p> <ul> <li>Provide therapeutic individualized education in an age-appropriate manner. </li><li>Complete required documentation in a timely manner. </li><li>Participate in Treatment Team/Multidisciplinary Team meetings and ensure all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of application of relevant state/federal laws, The Joint Commission standards, and other regulatory agency standards in regards to Millcreek School. </li><li>Accept assignments and other duties as designated by the principal. </li><li>Provide care and/or conducts patient/resident interactions in an age/cultural appropriate manner. </li><li>Follows all safety policies and adheres to all workers' compensation program guidelines. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities</p> <p>This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
