<p>Job Title: Transmission Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers flexibility, allowing for either a fully remote work arrangement or a hybrid schedule, with the expectation of occasional visits to our Michigan office to collaborate with team members. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in transmission line engineering and be adept at managing projects from inception to completion.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead the design and coordination of transmission lines ranging from 40kV to 230kV. </li><li>Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, and other relevant standards in engineering and design. </li><li>Design medium and high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD. </li><li>Prepare construction documents, including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation assembly drawings. </li><li>Develop specifications and project design criteria. </li><li>Provide field support during construction. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. </li><li>Provide technical leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. </li><li>5-7 years of experience in transmission line engineering. </li><li>Proficiency in line design. </li><li>Experience with PLS-CADD and/or PLS Pole. </li><li>Experience working with 40kV to 230kV transmission lines. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>PE license or EIT certification preferred. </li><li>Experience with GIS. </li><li>Experience in construction work related to utilities. </li><li>Master's degree is a plus. </li><li>Familiarity with AutoCAD, Mathcad, Microstation, and FAD. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Our facility is a brand new, state-of-the-art establishment located in Northville, Michigan.
