<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The University of Connecticut is accepting applications and nominations for multiple full-time Assistant Football Coach positions.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Assist the Head Football Coach in the organization and administration of all phases of a Division I FBS program including game preparation and the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes; assist in monitoring academic progress and development of student-athletes; community involvement; and other program duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>Working knowledge of the correct application of NCAA regulations </li><li>Strong commitment to the academic goals of the University </li><li>Excellent organizational, teaching, communication and public relations skills </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years' experience working in a football program at the collegiate FBS, FCS or NFL within the past 10 years </li><li>Collegiate coaching experience at the Division I level </li><li>Possesses coaching and student-athlete development philosophies consistent with that of the Division of Athletics and its football program </li></ul> <p>APPOINTMENT TERMS</p> <p>The University offers a competitive salary, and outstanding benefits, including employee and dependent tuition waivers at UConn, and a highly desirable work environment.
