We'll help you grow as a leader.</p> <p>What you'll be doing as a Window and Door Installation Supervisor:</p> <p>You'll need to be able to do the things we expect from our installers:</p> <ul> <li>Measure door and window glass accurately to ensure ordering accuracy. </li><li>Remove and install window glass with safety and quality as your top priority. </li><li>Transport and deliver window and door products safely to job sites. </li><li>Ability to move materials up to 100 pounds, frequently and safely. </li><li>Comfortable moving up and down extension ladders, frequently and safely. </li><li>Acquire the skills to properly install exterior doors and sliding glass doors. </li><li>Acquire the skills to properly operate tools of the trade. </li><li>Acquire the skills to properly apply best practices of the trade. </li></ul> <p>You'll also need:</p> <ul> <li>The ability to uphold the Huskey standard with a small installation crew. </li><li>A passion for excellence in following manufacturer's and Huskey guidelines. </li><li>A passion for delivering jobs on time and in full-despite the challenges. </li><li>A passion for developing human talent. </li><li>A good understanding of what constitutes quality workmanship. </li><li>Ability to interact well with a diverse range of people and backgrounds. </li><li>A continuous desire to learn, grow and improve. </li></ul> <p>What we expect from our supervisors:</p> <ul> <li>A mannered person of honesty and integrity who can take direction from others. </li><li>A team player who first and foremost gets customer service. </li><li>A problem solver with sufficient tenacity to own problems and see them through to satisfactory resolution. </li><li>A candidate who loves building, construction, and the like, but who also has interests and hobbies outside the construction realm. </li><li>A candidate with an affinity for field work-we work in new construction; expect to get dirty working in hot-in-the-summer and cold-in-the-winter environments when doing installs and or repair work at locations all over middle Tennessee. </li><li>Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate on table devices like iPads, etc. </li><li>Good oral and written communications skills, and a zeal for documenting what you do. </li><li>A driver's license and insurability for purposes of driving company service vehicles. </li><li>Adaptability in the face of evolving work requirements. </li><li>Must pass the required company drug screens as part of a drug-free workplace. </li></ul> <p>Essential duties performed by the Installation Supervisor:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the day-to-day goals of the Window Service Department are implemented to meet the scheduled deadlines, work quality and customer service standards set by the Installation Team. </li><li>Assist with or running the installer briefing and loading mornings alongside, or on behalf of the Window Service Department Manager where necessary. </li><li>Carry out pre-site visits as required, checking the site is ready and correct for installation, in good time before the installation date. </li><li>Carry out post site visits to check standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction are met. </li><li>Ensure that the Installation team are fully aware of their tasks for the day and that they are leaving with all the resources they need to achieve them. </li><li>Undertake site supervision for live projects ensuring Installation team members are keeping to the schedule and all work meets quality standards. </li><li>Produce reports for the Window Service Department Manager as required. </li><li>Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicles are safe, effectively maintained and project a good impression to potential customers and ensure that any necessary actions are undertaken immediately. </li><li>Create and maintain an accurate inventory of all tools and equipment belonging to Huskey Building Supply related to the Window Service Department. </li><li>Provide technical support to the Installation Team, Coordinator Team and customers as appropriate. </li><li>Actively work to implement improvements to company processes, standards and customer service levels and communicates ideas for improvements to the Window Service Department Manager. </li><li>Accurately estimate the time taken to conduct various work as required. </li></ul>
