<p>NOTICE OF CERTIFIED STAFF VACANCY</p> <p>2025-2026</p> <p>POSITION: Intervention Specialist, Rossford Elementary School</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Valid and appropriate State of Ohio K-12 Intervention License </li><li>Excellent organization and communication skills </li><li>Genuine desire to support efforts to achieve the district vison: Preparing, inspiring, and empowering all students to achieve success </li><li>Experience with Ohio's Extended Learning Standards (OLS-E) as well as inclusion and co-teaching </li><li>Training and/or experience collaborating with teachers to modify general education coursework </li><li>Experience with writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) </li><li>Experience with functional behavioral assessments and behavioral improvement plans </li><li>Training in a Research-Based Reading Instruction Program preferred </li></ul> <p>DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders </li><li>Serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as responsible citizens </li><li>Fulfill responsibilities as outlined in applicable job description(s), including other duties as assigned by the Principal, Director of Student Services, or Superintendent of Schools </li></ul> <p>In accordance with State law, the Rossford Board of Education requires a criminal background check through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) records for each applicant the Superintendent recommends for employment.</p> <p>It is the policy of the Board of Education of the Rossford School District that no candidate for a position in this District shall be discriminated against based on race, color, religion, national origin or citizenship status, creed or ancestry, age, gender, marital status, non-disqualifying disability, height, or other protected categories.</p>
