We strive to create an inclusive work environment that fosters respect and dignity for all.</p> <p>BCBA (1.0)</p> <p>Willett Elementary (0.4)</p> <p>Hill-Roberts Elementary (0.4)</p> <p>Studley Elementary (0.2)</p> <p>Start date 8/25/2025 (with orientation days prior)</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Master's Degree preferred</p> </li><li> <p>MA Licensure as Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (Prek-8 and/or 5-12) or Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities (All) preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification</p> </li><li> <p>Two years of relevant experience in a school based setting preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptions to the above qualifications shall be made as the Superintendent deems appropriate and acceptable</p> </li></ol> <p>REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education and Student Support Services and Building Principals</p> <p>JOB GOAL: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will consult, collaborate, and provide services and training to support staff and families to improve the educational experience for students with intensive social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Observes target students in a variety of settings for purposes of both data collection and to provide consultation to team members, regarding curriculum, instruction, and behavior programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts and interprets evaluations including report writing as per Federal and State laws and regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitates the transition planning for students with significant social, emotional, or behavioral challenges, from grade to grade, building to building.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures effective implementation of all school and home programming for students.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides direct instruction, training, and support to staff and families.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates ability to work effectively as part of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in school and district teams as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively manages caseload and prepares and submits all required documentation in a timely manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that methodologies are evidence-based and reflect the most recent research.</p> </li><li> <p>Designs behavioral programs and interprets data from those programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations and School Committee policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other reasonable duties assigned by the Director of Special Education and Student Support Services and School Principals.</p> </li></ol> <p>PREFERRED:</p> <p>Safety-care trainer or trained</p> <p>Experience as a Professional Development Facilitator</p> <p>Experience as a classroom teacher</p> <p>WORK YEAR: Per AEA contract</p> <p>Applications will be considered when submitted via our online application system with POWERSCHOOL UNIFIED TALENT.
