<p>Description</p> <p>The Construction Administrator holds responsibility for RMH's construction processes. Champions the construction phase for all high risk and medium to large projects. Manages the RFI and submittal process, attends construction meetings, attends field observation reports, attends final punch list visits, and is responsible for construction phase problem resolution. Leads our safety program and is heavily involved with engineering standards development. He/she is a strong construction/technical leader with a passion for continual improvement for the construction phase process.</p> <p>We view every project as an opportunity to form a lasting partnership and we are committed to providing a culture that promotes balance, encouraging flexible schedules and hybrid work options that allow employees to make a bigger impact at work, at home, and in the community.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Contributes to development and improvement of Construction Administrative process with an emphasis on efficiency, quality assurance, and timely project close out; </li><li>Reviews and processes construction administrative tasks such as field observation reports, submittals, RFIs, ASIs and pay applications in a timely manner; </li><li>Represents RMH in most/all construction progress meetings and conducts field observations; </li><li>Provides oversight for reviews and responses completed by other team members as appropriate; </li><li>Informs Project Manager of any major construction issues or changes that incur significant cost/time, owner concerns, and/or tension with General Contractor, etc., immediately; </li><li>Shares lessons learned from the field with project design and quality management teams; </li><li>Builds and maintains favorable working relationships with Client, Contractor, and all team members; </li><li>Identifies and communicates out project progress, accomplishments, challenges, and support needed to complete responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>This is a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office required </li><li>5+ years of field experience </li><li>8+ years of experience in project management of construction and/or design teams </li><li>Strong knowledge of quality site work construction in a building design setting </li><li>Ability to understand knowledge of construction terminology </li><li>Strong construction observation, organization, communication, and negotiation skills </li><li>Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous projects that are under construction </li><li>AutoCAD/Bluebeam (or other construction management software) experience required </li></ul> <p>The pay range for this position of expected to be within a range of $90,000 - $140,000 and is based upon multiple factors including level of experience, professional registrations and applicant knowledge, skills, and abilities.
