<p>See Yourself at Telix</p> <p>The Manager, FP&A and Business Planning supports finance and business leadership by contributing to corporate and business unit financial planning and analysis activities. This role partners with business and functional leaders on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management processes, providing high quality analysis and insights to support informed decision making.</p> <p>The Manager plays a key role in the annual business planning and quarterly reforecasting processes, helps develop and monitor companywide metrics and KPIs, and translates financial data into actionable insights to improve business performance and profitability. The role focuses on execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of the financial analysis and planning process and strategy</p> <p>Key Accountabilities:</p> <p>Financial Planning & Analysis</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Support the development and execution of annual budgets, long-range plans, and periodic forecasts. </li><li>Analyze financial performance versus plan, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key drivers and variances. </li><li>Prepare clear, concise financial analyses and materials for management review. </li></ul> <p>Budgeting, Forecasting, and Business Support</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Run the annual budget process for Telix including creating templates, setting the timelines and providing guidance to ensure accurate and timely completion </li><li>Coordinate the annual budget reforecasts (F1, F2 and F3) for Telix (including instructions, timelines and guidance) </li><li>Partner with functional and commercial teams to understand financial performance and drivers. </li><li>Consolidating budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business objectives. </li><li>Support scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess potential business outcomes. </li></ul> <p>Financial / Business Modeling</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. </li><li>Analyze assumptions and outcomes to support resource allocation and prioritization decisions. </li></ul> <p>Financial Reporting</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Prepare recurring management reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses. </li><li>Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful reporting of financial results and key metrics. </li><li>Partner with Global Finance to ensure alignment with accounting standards and internal reporting requirements. </li></ul> <p>Business Performance and KPIs</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Support the definition, monitoring, and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs). </li><li>Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial and operational performance. </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, marketing) to understand performance drivers and financial impacts. </li></ul> <p>Finance Systems and Process Improvement</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Contribute to ongoing improvements in finance processes, tools, and systems. </li><li>Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, data quality, and analytical capabilities. </li><li>Support automation and standardization initiatives in collaboration with finance and IT teams. </li><li>Implement effective financial controls as appropriate to ensure performance to plan and Telix policy. </li><li>Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and adherence to internal control policies across financial reporting and project-related financial activities </li><li>Implement and maintain SOX-compliant processes and internal controls, ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting. </li><li>Ensure all financial data, including expenditures and capital investments, is compliant with SOX and undergoes the appropriate level of review. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA a plus. </li><li>CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required. </li><li>6-8 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related finance roles. </li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial information. </li><li>Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. </li><li>Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting. </li><li>Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or highly regulated industries is highly desirable. </li><li>Experience in a publicly listed organization is a plus. </li><li>Sound commercial acumen and financial management skills and experience, gathering and analyzing data, reports and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders. </li><li>Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality. </li></ul> <p>Key Capabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Inclusive mindset: Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for diversity, and actively work to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected </li><li>Creativity and innovation: Possess a willingness to think outside the box and come up with unique and creative solutions to challenges </li><li>Commitment to excellence: Take pride in your work and consistently strive for excellence in everything you do </li><li>Results-oriented: Driven to achieve goals and objectives, with a strong focus on delivering measurable results </li><li>Ethical behavior: Act with integrity and demonstrate a commitment to ethical behavior in all interactions with colleagues and stakeholders </li><li>Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, able to adjust to changing priorities, and willing to take on new challenges </li><li>Strong communication skills: Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, using clear and concise language </li><li>Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, actively sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals </li><li>Resilience: Demonstrate the ability to bounce back from setbacks and persevere in the face of challenges </li><li>Continuous learning: Show a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, continually seeking out opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills </li></ul>
