<p>Job Summary/Overview</p> <p>The Specialist, Technical Sales Support is a fully remote role that supports our Magnetek product line, manufactured at our Menomonee Falls, WI facility. This position involves travel to customer locations and focuses on delivering technical product and application training, as well as comprehensive support, to strengthen customer confidence and loyalty in specifying, selling, and maintaining Magnetek Elevator products.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide training and technical support to customers and contractors, on our elevator drives and controls products </li><li>Offer timely and effective technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for product-related issues </li><li>Collaborate with Magnetek Aftermarket Support to deliver training and resolve customer problems </li><li>Drive market share growth by identifying opportunities for competitive conversions </li><li>Travel as necessary to support customers, provide start-up assistance, and achieve sales objectives </li><li>Provide reports as required </li><li>Perform others related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Technical competence in elevator mechanicals and/or controllers and their application in the Elevator market </li><li>Technical competence on Magnetek products and their interface with elevator controllers </li><li>Working knowledge and experience with MS Office </li><li>Possess aptitude to become an expert on elevator drives and controls </li><li>Good communication skills and customer-focused mentality </li><li>Self-motivated and ability to manage time and priorities </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 4 years of experience in the Elevator market (preferred), demonstrating familiarity with controls and drives </li><li>Ability to travel up to ~50% travel </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>About Columbus McKinnon:</p> <p>Columbus McKinnon is a leading worldwide designer, manufacturer and marketer of intelligent motion solutions that move the world forward and improve lives by efficiently and ergonomically moving, lifting, positioning and securing materials.
