<p>Job Description:</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations as part of the initial, targeting, and three-year review process for students with significant behavioral, emotional, social, and adaptive concerns. </li><li>Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings to review evaluation results and plan for future educational programming. </li><li>Develop and co-facilitate general and topic-specific social-emotional counseling groups, such as weekly whole-classroom group sessions, trauma-specific interventions, and social skills groups. </li><li>Develop, assess, and maintain systems-level behavioral and social-emotional programming. </li><li>Maintain and modify systems-level data collection, analysis, and management systems (e.g., SWIS, student success sheets, Google Looker Studio) according to school and student needs and behavioral presentations. </li><li>Support staff in utilizing data-based decision-making to implement or modify instructional procedures. </li><li>Support the development of functional behavioral assessment procedures including data collection, analysis of collected data, developing a functional analysis, conceptualizing the conditions under which behavior occurs, and reporting on findings in oral and written form. </li><li>Support the development of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on a functional assessment, support staff training for implementation, and monitor progress of intervention and modify as needed. </li><li>Conduct parent, and staff training as appropriate. </li><li>Assist in crisis response efforts, including suicide risk assessments, threat assessments, behavior, crisis counseling, and emergency physical management (Safety Care), while promoting proactive strategies to create a safe and supportive school environment. </li><li>Consult and collaborate with administrators, special education teachers, school social workers, associate instructors, BCBAs, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nursing staff, outside providers, and families. </li><li>Comply with all company policies and procedures. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Qualified candidates must be enrolled in and a candidate in good standing within a doctoral program (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or School Psychology. </li><li>Must have successfully completed pre-internship expectations as defined by their respective programs. </li><li>Preferred qualifications: Masters degree in psychology or a related field, behavior analysis, or education/special education. </li></ul> <p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide transportation to job sites, meetings, trainings, and professional learning opportunities as required.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
