Above all, employees will be provided the opportunity to seek, speak, and listen within the organization.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation. </li><li>Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. </li><li>Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. </li><li>Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. </li><li>Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. </li><li>Manages, develops and motivates employees. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment </li><li>3+ years' experience leading or managing a team </li><li>3+ years' experience in supply chain or materials management </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher </li><li>Experience in lean processes and initiatives </li><li>Experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other internal departments including Operations, Tooling, and Engineering </li><li>Previous experience with Compass Contract (MRP) System and/or an MRP system </li><li>Previous experience with an inventory system is highly desired, and other systems including GOLD, MES, or Compass Contract </li></ul> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Total Rewards:</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
