<p>$20-$24/hour, 8am-12pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri.</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Under the general supervision of the Pharmacist and using established protocols, this position coordinates with providers and medical support staff to assist patients with medication refills.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pioneer experience. </li><li>Vaccine certification. </li></ul> <p>Work Expectations:</p> <p>While this position is designated as part-time or PRN, there may be expectations to work full-time hours to cover PTO and/or staff absences, ensuring continuity of service.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Retrieving, pouring, counting, labeling, and reconstituting prescription medications. </li><li>Accessing, inputting, and retrieving information through the Pharmacy's computer network to maintain accurate records. </li><li>Creating accurate prescription labels. </li><li>Obtaining refill authorizations from prescribers. </li><li>Processing and preparing third-party insurance claims. </li><li>Communicating with physicians, patients, and third parties, such as insurers. </li><li>Maintaining accurate patient/client profiles. </li><li>Maintaining Pharmacy inventory. </li><li>Performing other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to adapt to dynamic scheduling needs, including flexibility for full-time hours when required. </li><li>Proficiency in using pharmacy systems and processing third-party claims. </li></ul>
