<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Member Engagement Associate supports CED's high-level relationships with business leaders who serve as Trustees, ensuring that every interaction is seamless, professional, and aligned with the organization's standards of excellence. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive individual eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced team with high visibility and impact.</p> <p>Working closely with the Senior Member Engagement Director, the Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate Member data, coordinating outreach, supporting events, and responding to Trustee inquiries. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, discretion, and a strong commitment to customer service. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable making phone calls, including cold outreach to Trustee assistants or contacts-to ensure timely and accurate information gathering and follow-up.</p> <p>Accountabilities:</p> <p>Maintain accurate and up-to-date Trustee information across internal systems (CRM, MMP, HubSpot) and assist in updating public-facing content such as bios and headshots on the website. Support onboarding by gathering key details, creating Trustee profiles using templates and research, and ensuring timely upload of materials across platforms. Coordinate meeting scheduling between Trustees and CED leadership, respond to routine inquiries, and help track engagement activities to support retention efforts. Monitor renewal timelines, follow up with Trustees or assistants as needed, and update pledge and payment records to support Finance with accurate tracking. Help plan and execute Trustee events by managing invites, tracking RSVPs and attendance, supporting Zoom logistics for virtual programs, and providing onsite support for in-person events. Assist in drafting and distributing Trustee-facing communications such as updates and newsletters and help compile weekly engagement reports. Maintain CED's rolling calendar of activities, manage calendar invites for key events, and help ensure alignment across internal teams. Update internal systems and distribution lists when a Trustee resigns and notify Finance to adjust invoices or revenue forecasts as needed. Monitor shared inboxes, check office mail, and provide project-based or administrative support as assigned to ensure smooth team operations.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience handling professional correspondence in a membership-based or corporate environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with a proactive, customer-focused mindset and collaborative approach. Ability to work independently and effectively across teams. Project or program management experience preferred Comfortable learning new systems: familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with CRM or email platforms is a plus.</p>
