(PCC) global family of manufacturing facilities.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Machine Operator on 2nd Shift. Candidates should have prior experience operating Swiss-style mutli-spindle CNC machines, or other similar type of CNC equipment.</p> <p>Earn up to $28.00 per hour (based on prior experience).</p> <ul> <li>Signing Bonus and Shift Differential Pay Available* </li></ul> <p>At Greer Stop Nut, we manufacture specialty threaded locking fasteners (a.k.a. nuts) used in the aerospace and nautical industries on items such as jets and submarines. The manufacturing process of these pieces are carefully monitored to ensure the highest level of quality is always ensured. CNC Machine Operators often average 45-50 hours per week.</p> <p>We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Weekly Pay </li><li>Meaningful Work that supports the US Military and aerospace industry </li><li>Complete Benefits Package </li><li>401k Retirement Plan with match up to 5% </li><li>No Mandatory Overtime </li><li>Paid Holidays, Vacation, Personal Time </li></ul> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operate assigned CNC machine(s) to manufacture parts to required specifications. </li><li>Use sample parts, blueprints, and schematics to determine the method and order of operations. </li><li>Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, being in control of the machine, and safely transporting product over short distances. </li><li>Maintain product quality through monitoring and adjusting machine offsets as needed. </li><li>Perform and record in-process inspection actions such as measuring and validating part features regarding dimensional tolerances and specifications. </li><li>Perform first article and buyoff. </li><li>Perform setup operations which includes setting up fixtures and cutting tools. </li><li>Perform inspection tasks of intermediate complexity interacting with drawings and more advanced inspection tools. </li><li>Meet production demands as assigned. </li><li>Run production on multiple machines at once (up to 3 machines) </li><li>Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction </li><li>Complete other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience operating Swiss-style CNC equipment or other similar devices used for machining metal parts. </li><li>A working knowledge of shop math including tool geometry, positive and negative numbers, as well as basic geometry. </li><li>The ability to read basic prints and </li></ul>
