<p>What to Expect</p> <p>As a Construction Superintendent at Tesla, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of manufacturing facilities. You will serve as the primary coordinator of field operations, working cross-functionally with base build, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead the successful execution of both contracted and self-performed construction projects </li><li>Develop and manage project schedules, identifying critical paths and addressing any roadblocks </li><li>Create and maintain site logistics and execution plans </li><li>Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaborate effectively with stakeholders </li><li>Direct field work, track changes, and provide leadership within project teams </li><li>Work closely with engineering teams to resolve design issues promptly </li><li>Ensure installations meet end-user requirements and adhere to quality standards </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Preferred degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience </li><li>Ideally, 7+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively present information </li><li>High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (Microsoft Projects) able to identify and implement the best method to communicate or plan a project and scopes </li><li>Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and managing changes to construction design documents with ability to provide constructability feedback </li><li>Ability to travel to various project locations as needed (up to 50%), often on short notice </li></ul> <p>Tesla is an Equal Opportunity employer.
