Thompson is headquartered in Sumter, South Carolina with offices spanning the United States, primarily southeast and central United States.</p> <p>Position Description</p> <p>Perform any combination of various basic tasks associated with the operation of an industrial cleaner and do so in a safe and quality manner with the best quality possible. Primary duties will include cleaning tobacco in and around machinery inside of a large manufacturing plant.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Takes direction and effectively communicates with supervisors. </li><li>Thinks creatively and applies results to safely and efficiently complete tasks. </li><li>Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. </li><li>Maintains work area in clean and tidy manner. </li><li>Use a variety of tools and equipment such as brooms, shovels, dusters, mops, pressure washer, and air wands. </li><li>Operate equipment and machines such as forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts and floor scrubbers. </li><li>Other duties as may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers and understand direction from supervisor. </li><li>Must be able to utilize basic math and read a tape measure. </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age </li><li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively </li><li>Work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments </li><li>Must be able to utilize a ladder. </li><li>Must be able to work in high elevations. Heights may be more than 20 feet from the ground. </li><li>40 or more hours per week with possible weekend work </li><li>You must be able to pass a Background check with no felonies in the last 7 years. </li><li>You must be able to pass a drug screen based on job location/requirements which includes THC </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>We strive to provide a competitive compensation and benefits package.
