The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region. </li><li>The Security Officer plays a critical role in protecting life and property of all persons on Hillcrest Medical Center premises and patrols hospital buildings and ground to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism. </li><li>Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings. </li><li>Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. This position is safety sensitive. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Valid ARMED Guard CLEET License </li><li>Maintains current BLS and obtains certification within 30 days of hire </li><li>Annual CLEET requalification handgun & shotgun required by a CLEET certified instructor </li><li>Maintains OC/Pepper Spray certification </li><li>Upholds Crisis Intervention Training from SAMA - SATORI and obtains certification within 30 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>One (1) year relevant experience or appropriate preferred education requirements </li><li>· Experience in healthcare security, corporate security, or law enforcement </li></ul>
