<p>Job Ref:</p> <p>2373</p> <p>Job Title:</p> <p>Cost Analyst</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Uxbridge</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>£45,000 per annum</p> <p>Closing date:</p> <p>Close date not set</p> <p>Vacancy Description</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE:</p> <p>We are currently recruiting for motivated, reliable and customer focused Cost Analyst to join our team based in Uxbridge, London.</p> <p>Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.</p> <p>Pay Rate: £ 45,000 per annum + commission</p> <p>Working Hours: 40Hrs per week, Monday to Friday 09:00Hrs to 17:30Hrs.</p> <p>Start Date: Immediately.</p> <p>Role Summary:</p> <p>The Cost Analyst will act as a strategic link between the Business Development and Finance teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the cost structure of new and existing contracts, developing pricing models, and driving value in deal negotiations. The role requires a proactive individual with a background in facility management, excellent analytical skills, and an advanced command of Microsoft Excel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled analyst with a background in facilities management or service-based sectors, who enjoys solving commercial challenges and influencing the success of major contracts from pre-bid through to implementation.</p> <p>You will work with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.</p> <p>Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with both Business Development and Finance teams to evaluate and optimise the cost and pricing elements of new and existing client deals. </li><li>Lead the financial modelling of contracts and proposals to assess profitability, risks, and ROI. </li><li>Conduct deal pricing reviews, develop rate cards, and ensure that terms align with financial objectives and service deliverables. </li><li>Support bid teams with detailed cost analysis and price justification documents during tender submissions. </li><li>Create dynamic, Excel-based models to track costs, benchmark pricing, and forecast margins. </li><li>Provide cost analysis insights to senior stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making. </li><li>Maintain cost databases and ensure all pricing information is accurate, current, and aligned with market rates. </li><li>Support regular reviews of contract financial performance and identify areas for improvement. </li><li>Participate in contract renegotiations and price increase initiatives to support business growth. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Mandatory: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a cost analyst or similar financial role within the UK facility managementservice or facilities management industry. </li><li>Strong An understanding of FM pricing structures, operational cost drivers, and industry-specific financial metrics. </li><li>Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across commercial and finance departments. </li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelling. </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and commercial impact. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to tight deadlines. </li><li>Familiarity with UK procurement and tendering processes in the FM sector is highly desirable. </li></ul> <p>Our core values are:</p> <p>Accountable, Learn & Grow, Ethical, Respect & Team Work</p> <p>ABOUT US:</p> <p>Tenon FM are a Facilities Management (FM) Company with over 1,700 employees in the UK, offering a wide spectrum of hard & soft FM services specific to the diverse needs of over 1,100 customers throughout the UK.</p> <p>Our people are very important, because without our employees we can`t provide our services and deliver our customer promise and your role is vital to our continuing success.
