Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.</p> <p>As the Foundry Molding Machine Operator, you will work onsite to set up and operate the Hunter molding machine. A Hunter molding machine is an advanced machine used for casting. It ensures consistent casting quality, reduced maintenance, and maximum productivity.</p> <p>You will ensure molds are produced safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality standards, collaborating with maintenance and other team members as needed.</p> <p>You Will:</p> <ul> <li>Setup and operate the Hunter molding machine, ensuring that correct operating procedures for the molding machine are followed. </li><li>Manually set cores in the green sand molds as required. </li><li>Cycle molding machine at a pace that meets required metrics. </li><li>Clean and inspect pattern plates according to standard work procedures. </li><li>Change pattern plates when required. </li><li>Verify all special instructions on the job router are completed. </li><li>Perform 1st article inspection on the mold after pattern changeover is completed. </li><li>Inspect for visual defects. </li><li>Report mechanical malfunctions to maintenance and/or the supervisor. </li><li>Operate the Molding machine following all safety rules and guidelines. </li><li>Properly complete molding logs and records. </li><li>Perform repetitive work, ensuring consistent results. </li><li>Perform routine housekeeping to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. </li><li>Complete end of shift maintenance and clean up requirements </li><li>Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety rules. </li><li>Immediately report any job-related injury or illness to your direct supervisor. </li></ul> <p>You Have:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED </li><li>Can read and speak English fluently. </li></ul> <p>Before joining our team, you must successfully complete pre-employment screenings. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires exceptional hand eye coordination.</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Work in a manufacturing environment. The foundry will be hot in the summer months.
