We have a full-time opportunity available for experienced Production Scheduler on 1st Shift. This is an hourly position that is eligible for overtime pay.</p> <p>Major Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide on-demand manufacturing schedule to Production departments and update on a daily basis/by shift if necessary. </li><li>Act as information resource between Production Control and Production departments. </li><li>Review impact of releases change and communicate issues back to Production Control. </li><li>Verify impact of releases changes with raw material vendors. </li><li>Generate production reports for other operation departments/logistics department. </li><li>Forecasting of production overtime requirements. </li><li>Exercise high degree of independent decision making regarding organizing and performing work to meet customer requirements. </li><li>Responsible for raw material/components ordering and scheduling. </li><li>Requests and oversees inventory counts with outside vendors on monthly basis. </li><li>Works with Logistics on shortages, etc. to ensure customer needs are met. </li><li>Works closely with related departments to communicate any part shortages and recovery plans. </li><li>Other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Organizational Relationships:</p> <ul> <li>All Production Departments </li><li>Shipping & Receiving </li><li>Logistics </li></ul> <p>Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>3 to 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent of education and experience. </li><li>Experience in any ERP/MRP.
