<p>Position Summary</p> <p>As a Christian university, Olivet Nazarene University exists to provide an education with a Christian purpose. We strive to be a more inclusive community as we seek to understand and celebrate our unique experiences and perspectives.</p> <p>The Guest Experience Coordinator schedules and arranges campus visits for prospective student families. The coordinator will work in advance of the campus visit and oversee the process from registration up to the day of the visit while providing a composed professional presence in greeting guests, answering phones, arranging campus visits, schedules and providing support to Admissions staff in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.</p> <p>The Guest Experience Coordinator is a very detailed and organizational position charged with effectively planning a day that will encourage a prospective student to take the next step in their enrollment process. The Guest Experience Coordinator will work closely with the other guest service team members and the student ambassadors. The coordinator needs to have excellent interpersonal skills in engaging with all the key stakeholders in the campus visit.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide support to guest experience team including Director of Guest Experience, Events Manager, Guest Experience Assistant, and Administrative Assistant to the VP of Enrollment Management. </li><li>Communicate professional information to Admissions staff to provide comprehensive guest information. </li><li>Generate a personal connection with each guest in a professional way that moves them closer to committing to Olivet. Make personal phone contact with student/family member to obtain pertinent information for their visit. </li><li>Arrange campus visits for individual prospective students, for groups, and for special events. </li><li>Oversee the visit confirmation process and communication leading up to the visit. </li><li>Schedule overnight housing for student/family with Student Ambassadors and in Admissions Guest Apartment. </li><li>Arrange chauffeur services for bus, train, airport when needed. </li><li>Schedule appointments with professors, athletics, music, and other essential stakeholders in the campus visit experience. </li><li>Schedule counselor appointments, financial aid appointments, and tours. </li><li>Review typed schedules and help greet guests </li><li>Maintain the website "open visit" days. </li><li>Send daily emails, prepare welcome signs, etc. </li><li>Deliver effective pitch to families on the value of Olivet providing an endorsement to The Olivet Experience. </li><li>Maintain strict confidentiality and professional correspondence. </li><li>Perform other duties as required or deemed necessary. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>The Guest Experience Coordinator will provide support to supervise student ambassadors.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required</p> <ul> <li>A lifestyle in agreement with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant. </li><li>Project a positive, enthusiastic and supportive attitude toward Olivet Nazarene University and its mission. </li><li>Capability of making rapid connections with guests and introducing them to their sense of belonging at Olivet. </li><li>Ability to focus and multi-task while demonstrating composure in a fast-paced open environment. </li><li>Must be welcoming and enjoy connecting with a diverse group of people; and skillful in graciously transitioning to other tasks as needed. </li><li>It is absolutely essential that Guest Experience Coordinator possesses incredibly strong organizational, time management skills with special attention to details while working efficiently. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively. </li><li>Proficient writing, grammar and technology skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>Level of education required for this role: a high school diploma with college experience or degree preferred.</p> <p>WORKENVIRONMENT</p> <p>The Guest Experience Coordinator will work on the main campus of Olivet Nazarene University in the Admissions Center. The coordinator spends most of their time in their private office arranging schedules. The admissions office is a vibrant and energetic setting which values success, servant leadership, treating others with respect.</p> <p>12-month, full-time staff member.</p> <p>SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION</p> <p>The starting salary for this position is $18.00 per hour and is based on experience and education.</p> <p>Only candidates who submit all required documents will be considered: resume, cover letter, statement of faith, application questions.
