U.S. News & World Report has ranked Hackensack University Medical Center the number one adult and children's hospitals in New Jersey.</p> <p>Opportunity Overview:</p> <ul> <li>Medical staff requirements: BC or within 5 years of residency in pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) or pediatrics (EMP, PE, Ped) with emergency medicine experience. </li><li>Newly graduating pediatric residents may receive additional training prior to working independently </li><li>EMR: Epic </li><li>14 private ED pediatric beds </li><li>12% admission rate </li><li>24 hours pediatric emergency medicine physician coverage per day </li><li>10 hours of pediatric advanced practice clinician coverage per day </li><li>20 bed pediatric inpatient unit with 24 hour in-house Pediatric hospital medicine team </li></ul> <p>Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $165 to $220 hourly. This role provides the option for employee or IC status.
