<p>The ideal candidate must be based in the Greater Boston Area.</p> <p>Sephora AP is constantly evolving to ensure we have products available to delight our clients. Our action-oriented Agents, Associates and Managers employ leading edge technology in stores, distribution centers and our Field Support Center to positively impact bottom line results. We operate with transparency, celebrate openly and foster teamwork in pursuit of our goals.</p> <p>Your role at Sephora:</p> <p>As a District Asset Protection Manager, you will be responsible for implementing programs to protect the company's assets and ensure the safety of employees and clients in their assigned locations. Reporting to the Regional Asset Protection Manager, you will hire, train and manage Store AP Associates in their assigned locations.</p> <p>In addition, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement effective Asset Protection strategies to reduce all shrink related factors, paying special attention to the High-Risk stores. Analyze Asset Protection activities and shrink performance to identify areas in need of improvement. Partner with store and regional management to identify and resolve shrink problems with appropriate action plans. </li><li>Administer and implement store audits and training programs for cast members on shrink and Asset Protection, including methods to deter and handle shoplifting and internal theft. Timely completion of all scheduled store audits and cast member-training sessions in all the assigned stores. </li><li>Ensure store compliance, by management and cast, with all Asset Protection and operational procedures established to protect company assets. Investigate all discrepancies, indications of dishonesty, fraud or criminal acts, in accordance with established procedures. Utilize exception-based reporting system to cultivate cases. Interview internal employees and cultivate admissions based on company guidelines. Where appropriate, develop investigative cases with a view to criminal prosecution. Partner in all such cases with the Regional Asset Protection Director, a manager or Director of Human Resources or the Senior Vice President Human Resources before Police intervention. </li><li>Directly responsible to ensure that all store Asset Protection systems and programs are fully operational, being regularly maintained, and properly utilized, including CCTV, alarms, locks, etc. </li><li>Hire, develop and manage Store Asset Protection Associates, and recruit new store staff for stores in the assigned areas. </li><li>Cultivate effective liaison relationships with other retailers, industry groups, police departments, and mall security/ property management teams. </li><li>Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative. </li></ul> <p>We're excited about you if you have:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of asset protection/Asset Protection experience in multi-unit retail environments. </li><li>Strong management/leadership skills necessary to develop proactive, cohesive Asset Protection teams; liaise effectively with store management and cast, and other cross-functional teams. </li><li>Track record of dealing with sensitive and confidential Asset Protection issues in a discrete and ethical manner, while exhibiting a command of criminal and civil law as it applies to the retail environment. </li><li>Demonstrated experience providing expertise during emergency, crisis and/or high-pressure situations. </li><li>Ability to develop plans, policies or procedures in a clear and concise manner. </li><li>Able to travel routinely. Travel requirement is approximately 75% of the job and includes overnight local and out of town travel locations. This travel requirement includes attendance to Sephora Asset Protection conferences and meetings. </li><li>Analytical skills and proficiency with computer technology including Asset Protection applications, MSOffice and retail store systems. </li><li>Strong interviewing skills to include Wicklander-Zulawski certification or other formal behavioral interview training. </li><li>Able to work in a fragrance filled environment </li></ul> <p>#LI-KP1</p>
