<p>Supervisor: Golf Course Manager/Event Center Specialist</p> <p>Location: 333 Holloway Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for daily cleaning and general maintenance of the Ballwin Event Center and The Ballwin Golf Shop. Performs manual work including, but not limited to, room set-ups, light maintenance and general care of cleaning equipment.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of the Ballwin Event Center and Golf Shop facilities to insure the safety and enjoyment of the public and the City staff. </li><li>Maintains proper cleaning procedures and safe use of all equipment. </li><li>Performs routine cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, buffing, waxing, window washing, cleaning/preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning bathrooms, and general exterior of facility. </li><li>Coordinate and cooperate with co-workers and fellow employees to assure job functions are handled in a safe and timely manner. </li><li>Communicates effectively with employees and the public. </li><li>Ability to prioritize cleaning tasks and follow an effective preventive maintenance program. </li><li>Coordinate the cleaning and set up of the Event Center rentals as deemed necessary. </li><li>Assist with the enforcement of building policies. </li><li>Assist with special events. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, skills and abilities required:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work with the public and City staff in a professional manner. </li><li>Knowledge of general cleaning practices and procedures. </li><li>Ability to work independently and efficiently without routine supervision. </li><li>Maintain a positive image for the City of Ballwin and the Department of Parks and Recreation. </li><li>Ability to work with interruptions during periods of high volume, while meeting deadlines. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively. </li><li>Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time indoors and outdoors, under a variety of weather conditions. </li><li>Able to lift up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to understand and work within safety guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Equipment used to perform the job:</p> <p>Vacuum cleaner, small hand tools, scrubbers, buffer, mop, broom, cleaning chemicals and general cleaning supplies.</p> <p>Education, Qualifications and experience required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED completion. </li><li>A minimum of one year custodial or work related experience is preferred. </li><li>Must be at least twenty-one years of age. </li><li>Part Time able to work 20-25 hours/week, which could include nights, weekends and some holidays. </li><li>Must be very flexible with work shifts and accommodating with extra hours as needed. </li><li>Current driver's license </li></ul> <p>Employee Certification: I have read and understand the essential functions of the job.
