<p>About the Role</p> <p>Leidos Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) is seeking a Product Manager to lead our Hold Baggage product line within our Aviation Security Product Portfolio. This individual will play a critical role in driving the vision, strategy, and execution of multiple solution and service offerings across both government and commercial markets. The ideal candidate brings a proven record of successful product delivery, operational excellence, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams from ideation to implementation.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Own the delivery and performance of the Hold Baggage product line, ensuring alignment with the SES product roadmap and business goals. </li><li>Lead cross-functional teams-including engineering, program management, sales, business development, production, and QA-to drive strategic initiatives and product success. </li><li>Develop and maintain Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) including business cases and technical specifications for new products and features. </li><li>Conduct market and competitive analyses to support business cases and inform product direction. </li><li>Drive product strategies by developing and executing comprehensive roadmaps that reflect market trends, customer needs, and business priorities. </li><li>Manage 3rd party partnerships in alignment with SES strategy. </li><li>Lead voice-of-customer engagements to inform product development and ensure market relevance. </li><li>Define product and service value propositions and develop go-to-market strategies. </li><li>Oversee product development programs-including internally funded and CRAD projects-to ensure timely, quality delivery that meets customer requirements. </li><li>Manage sustaining efforts and drive initiatives to improve product margins and lifecycle performance. </li><li>Lead certification and qualification processes for all product offerings. </li><li>Create product collateral and provide training and support to the sales organization. </li><li>Foster a high-performance culture focused on precision execution, accountability, and innovation. </li><li>Champion continuous improvement in technical and process capabilities across the portfolio. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field. </li><li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management or a closely related discipline. </li><li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 35%, both domestically and internationally. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. </li><li>Results-driven, with a strong ability to take initiative and lead by example. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable strategies. </li><li>Experience in the security and detection market is strongly preferred. </li><li>Proven ability to develop and sustain relationships across all levels-internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners. </li><li>Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership and customer executives. </li><li>Team-oriented with strong leadership and collaboration abilities. </li><li>High-energy, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality results. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Leidos?</p> <p>Leidos is a recognized leader in providing cutting-edge security and detection solutions that make the world safer. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.</p>
