<p>Production Supervisor</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Support the Mission, Vision and Values of Autoliv through daily actions of decisions to become an effective agent of change. </li><li>Driving the company-wide continuous improvement effort to maximize safety, quality, reliability, and cost reduction of manufacturing. </li><li>Accomplishing budget commitments, operating plans and plant deployment objectives. </li><li>Ensuring environmental compliance and safety corporate goals are achieved. </li><li>Leading, promoting, educating and instilling a culture of Zero Defects throughout the plant organization by following standard work and specifications, and by utilizing Lean Manufacturing concepts including information boards, visual indicators, pitch by-pitch tracking, and other appropriate tools and techniques. </li><li>Providing leadership consistency in implementing best demonstrated practices across all areas of the plant. </li><li>Fostering an environment of teamwork across departments, functions, and roles. </li><li>Accountability for the communication effectiveness and support of the team. This includes the acquisition, filtering and distribution of relevant information. </li><li>Support peers, business units, design engineers and related departments by building networks, sharing successes, tools and knowledge. </li><li>Accomplishing budget commitments, operating plans and plant deployment objectives. </li><li>Guiding the production team to improve Safety and Environmental goals, to improve customer service through good manufacturing practices with managing total cost, quality, and on-time delivery through analysis of data and improving team member performance. </li></ul> <p>Management Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises and provides leadership, coaching, guidance, training and staff development; interviews and selects employees; plans and evaluates employee performance; recommends merit increases, transfers and promotions; counsels and disciplines employees as necessary; recommends termination when appropriate; and monitors time and attendance of subordinates. </li><li>Develop and motivate team members to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long term performance plan goals.
