<p>Position Information</p> <p>Classification Title Student Services Pro II FLSA Exempt FTE 1.00 Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree </li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial aid administration, preferably in a graduate or professional school setting </li><li>Strong knowledge of federal financial aid regulations and loan programs </li></ul> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The School of Medicine Financial Aid Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the financial wellness and academic success of medical students. This position assists in the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing personalized guidance to students navigating the complexities of funding a medical education.</p> <p>This position is responsible for advising current and prospective students on financial aid and debt management, coordinating financial literacy programming, assisting with institutional scholarship administration, collaborating with the UGA Office of Student Financial Aid, and assisting in other areas of the office as needed.
